Pesto Restaurants is excited to announce the launch of its very own pale ale – Pesto Pale, now available at selected restaurants with thanks to a special relationship with Congleton-based Beartown Brewery.
This utterly gorgeous, refreshing, hoppy craft beer is infused with limoncello and has been paired with some of Pesto’s most popular piattinis (literally ‘small dishes’). It is now available at Pesto Widnes, Cabbage Hall in Tarporley, Dibbinsdale Inn in Bromborough, and The Davenport Arms in Marton, Macclesfield.
Sara Edwards and Michael Manning Toast a New Partnership
‘It’s a special craft beer that we just know our customers are going to love. Developed with the flavours and key ingredients of our dishes in mind, it blends perfectly with the piattinis we have recommended as pairings,’ said Pesto owner Sara Edwards.
Michael Potts, Director at The Manning Brewers Group, said: ‘It’s a great feeling to have our craft beer feature in the Pesto’s of the North-West, a family of restaurants that take such pride in sourcing their produce. We brew the Pesto Pale in small batches whilst slowly infusing it with limoncello sourced carefully from the Amalfi coast of Southern Italy. The result is a refreshing pale ale that pairs superbly with Pesto’s delicious range of Piattini. To help the visitors to Pesto choose their craft beer option, we’ve also launched a craft beer pairing menu that will be available before Christmas. We’re also looking at bottling the Pesto Pale range to make it available in Pestos across the UK.’
